HOMICIDE TIMELINE

Jan. 5 – Police find the body of Keesha Cree Bitternose in a home in the 1500 block of Cameron Street.

Jan. 8 – Bitternose is identified as the victim of the city's first homicide of the year.

Jan. 24 – Police find a man "critically injured" in the 500 block of Wascana Street. He is pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

Jan. 24 – Police begin investigating a death in the 4400 block of Dewdney Avenue. The man was found injured in a home and was pronounced dead in hospital later on that day.

Jan. 25 – A man was found dead in the 1200 block of Rae Street after reports of gunshots in the area. It's the third homicide in Regina in three days, and the fourth in the month of January.

Jan. 27 – Police identify the victims of a string of homicides over the weekend. A teen is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Majok Agwait Majok. Devon Wayne Cyr is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Isiah Trent Allary. A third victim is identified but police say charges haven't been laid.

Feb. 12 – Police charge 26-year-old Kelly Renee Stonechild with first-degree murder in Bitternose's death. They say more charges are expected.

Feb. 13 – Two others, Dillon Ricky Whitehawk and Kurtis Clayton Thomas, are charged with first-degree murder in Bitternose's death. Police also announce Whitehawk has been charged with first-degree murder in two deaths in late 2019.

Feb. 13 – Police lay charges in the January death of Rodney Troy Ruberry. Ruberry died in hospital after he was found injured in the 4400 block of Dewdney Avenue on Jan. 24. Josiah Pamburn is charged with manslaughter in Ruberry's death.

Feb. 24 – A 17-year-old boy is also charged with manslaughter in Ruberry's death.

March 5, 2020 –David Justin Lloyd Anderson, 36, is found injured in the 1400 block of Sixth Avenue. He is taken to hospital, where he dies of his injuries.

March 6, 2020 – Police say Anderson's death is the fifth homicide of 2020.

March 9, 2020 – Regina police charge Michael Douglas Morrisette, 21, with second-degree murder in death of David Anderson.

April 23, 2020 -- Police find a body in a home in the 1000 block of Princess Street.

April 24, 2020 -- The death is now considered the city's sixth homicide of 2020. The male's name hasn't been released.

April 27, 2020 -- Police say they have charged six people -- two adults and four youths -- with first-degree murder. They say the victim was also a youth and won't release his name.

May 22, 2020 -- Regina police find Jones Raymond Oakes dead in a home on Fisher Street. Joseph Delaney Oakes, 31, was arrested at the scene and later charged with first degree murder.

June 10. 2020 -- Regina Police Service said officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Arens Rd. E. and found an 18-month-old child injured at the scene. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Criminal investigation by the Major Crimes Unit deemed the death a homicide.

August 1, 2020 - Earl Dufour is shot at a home on Krauss St. Two people cahrged with attemped murder.

August 5, 2020 -- Regina police charged a woman with manslaughter in the death of the 18-month-old boy.

August 15, 2020 - Earl Dufour dies, charged upgraded to first degree murder.

October 20, 2020 – Police charged a 20-year-old man with manslaughter after a one-year-old girl died in hospital, with injuries believed to the result of physical abuse.
