More than 300 people have joined a new Facebook group in memory of Carol King, who was found dead near Herschel last Saturday.
Many of the members of the group "In Loving Memory of Carol King" are from Newfoundland, the province where King was born.
Hundreds of posts have been made to the group, including poems and messages of condolence to King's family.
King had been missing since early August. Her car was found in a slough on Aug. 10, and her remains were discovered at an abandoned farm yard six kilometres away.
RCMP say the death is being investigated as suspicious.
